Mainframe Support

Overview In this role you will apply deep Mainframe expertise to support critical banking and wealth-management workflows. You will work within the IT team to ensure reliable mainframe operations, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate on architecture with cross-functional groups. The position offers a chance to influence core processing in financial services and to work with established technologies at scale. You will contribute to a stable, high-performance IT environment that underpins trade execution and portfolio management. ResponsibilitiesMaintain and optimize Mainframe, COBOL, JCL, and DB2 components to ensure system reliabilityLeverage monitoring and scheduling tools (TWS) to automate and streamline batch processesTroubleshoot issues in web components and networking affecting financial workflowsApply understanding of wealth management, banking, and trade processing domains to support operationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT capabilities with business operations Key requirementsAt least 4 years of IT experienceBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent (or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education)Expert knowledge of Mainframe, COBOL, JCL, DB2Experience with MS SQLUnderstanding of business systems architecture, communications technologies, and infrastructureAbility to troubleshoot web components and networking issuesKnowledge of Wealth Management, Banking, Portfolio Management, Order Generation and Management, and Trade Execution and ProcessingMainframeCOBOLJCLDB2MS SQLTWS (Tivoli Workload Scheduler)
