This is not simply our job, it's our passion. Job Summary Primary responsibilities are to provide quality service in all Guest Rooms, Public Areas (PA) and Heart of House (HOH) spaces. Colleagues in this role must demonstrate genuine concern for Guests and Colleagues while ensuring a friendly, safe, efficient and professional service. Key Duties and Responsibilities Exceed Guest expectations of Housekeeping services, responsible for the cleanliness of Guest Rooms, Public Areas and Heart of House, and ensuring that these and all other spaces are cleaned in accordance with the standards of One&Only Moonlight Basin Responsible for deep cleanliness of Guest rooms, Laundry, PA and HOH spaces and venues in any assigned section Ensure hallways/corridors/pantries and lockers are kept clean and tidy at all times Ensure carpets in Guest Rooms, Hallways/ Corridors/ Lobby/ Restaurants/ Bars/ Elevators/ Offices are kept clean through daily spotting and vacuuming Meticulously adhere to the standard operating procedures pertaining to cleaning, sanitization and set up in Guest Rooms/ PA and HOH spaces and venues as well as in the Laundry and Uniform room General and deep cleaning of Trolleys, Caddies, Pantries, Restaurant, Bars, Elevators Offices, HOH spaces, PA spaces, venues and Toilets as per the standard One&Only Moonlight Basin standards Adhere to the company's standards regarding dress and appearance Extend appropriate greeting to all guests and colleagues at every opportunity, using names whenever possible Ensure that all equipment is properly cared for, cleaned and correctly stored Ensure that all scheduled arrival rooms are ready at time specified Inform In Room Dining team when room service trays need to be removed Ensure that Linen, Towels and other supplies are distributed to the sections and to the Linen Room Report timely any flower arrangements that need replacement Ensure supplies, amenities and linens are replenished as per standard Ensure that equipment is always clean, presentable, well maintained and in good repair Keep pantry neat and in good order Ensure ice machines and glasswashers are clean and sanitized Ensure that Guest room glassware and cutlery are always cleaned and sanitized to standards Maintain safe work practices as per the Health and Safety SOP Ensure that all HOH corridors, fire staircases, toilets, changing rooms, offices, shower areas are kept clean as per SOP Adhere to chemical utilization as per the Chemical training SOP Ensure all defects are reported immediately to Executive Housekeeper Develop a positive working relationship with all colleagues and departments to facilitate a team-oriented atmosphere Report all lost and found items and follow SOP to ensure proper storage and follow up Adhere to grooming standards as set by One&Only Moonlight Basin Attend training courses as required and continually strive for the improvement of own knowledge and skills To assist with any other duties as required by the Executive Housekeeper or another member of the management team Skills, experience and educational requirements Previous cleaning experience may be an advantage, but not generally required Must have the ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers and managers Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, holidays, and night shift Strong knowledge of all Hotel facilities, their service and working hours Mantain positive attitude at all times Our brand is expanding faster than ever before.
