Job Summary Seeking Physical Therapist with the following clinical specializations: Acute Care, Cardiovascular & Pulmonary, Geriatrics, Neurology, Oncology, Pediatrics, and Women's Health to join our dynamic team.Schedule/TrainingWork Schedule:Full-time: 5 days/week, 8 hours/day (40 hours total).During training: Follow your trainer's start time, including weekends.Post-training: Start at 10 AM Non-exempt Employees:Full-time OT/PT staff qualify for overtime pay if working over 40 hours/week. Overtime Pay:Paid at 1.5 times your hourly rate for hours beyond 40/week.No double pay for overtime and holiday premium. Weekend Shifts:3 weekend shifts/month for the first 2 years.2 weekend shifts/month after 2 years.Example: Working Sat, Nov 2 = 1 shift; Sun, Nov 3 = 1 shift; Sun, Nov 17 = 1 shift (total 3 shifts). JOB DUTIESHas knowledge of therapeutic principles and practices good clinical judgment. Does not compromise the patient's or another's safety, while at the same time maximizes the patient's treatment potential.Identifies and records problems areas on evaluation. For each problem identified, projects reasonable goals with realistic time frames.Analyzes and designs treatment plans based on patient problems and goals. Determines if planned treatment is effective and progresses patient in a timely fashion.Prepares for patient discharge in an organized and efficient manner including timely and accurate submission of equipment needs. Displays good knowledge of patient's resources and needs.Fosters teamwork by treating all staff fairly, facilitating 2-way communication and having a collaborative attitude.Organizes patient treatment time efficiently.Records patient's progress in a concise, accurate, and timely fashion.Performs other duties as assigned.
