Job Description Salary: $95,000-$115,000 salaryPlease read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.Experienced Construction Estimator needed for Steel Contractor doing structural and miscellaneous steel for various commercial and industrial projects, government contracts, high-rise buildings, apartment complexes, restaurants, and sports fields.Positive culture in a fast-paced environment.This is a full-time salaried position with benefits. THIS IS AN IN-HOUSE POSITION, NOT A REMOTE POSITIONKey Responsibilities:* Analyze and compile cost data to ensure a high-quality bid* Produce detailed bids using company specific format that clearly identifies project scope and includes accurate materials, shop and field labor* Develop competitive bids using Tekla/PowerFabsoftware* Review bids with project managers and perform project hand-offs that convey scopeKey Skills:* Strong Computer skills with the ability to use or learn Tekla/PowerFabsoftware* Experience with structural steel and miscellaneous metals * Fluent in both Architectural and Structural bid documents* Highly organized with the ability to communicate information in a clear and precise manner* A person with the xaygatp drive to build relationships and sell the job after the bid* Detail-oriented with solid time management skills* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Ability to work independently* Demonstrated ability to manage and balance multiple projects* Knowledge of AISC and AWS StandardsIf this sounds like the opportunity for you, please forward your resume along with salary requirements.
