For more information, visit mowsoflo.org.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, for a Social Work Team Supervisor at Meals on Wheels South Florida. The Social Work Team Supervisor will lead and manage a team of social workers and oversee client care operations. Responsibilities include supporting staff in providing social work services, conducting case management reviews, ensuring high-quality service delivery, coordinating resources, and managing complex cases. They will also assist in designing, assessing, and implementing new and existing programs to deepen the impact on the lives of Broward County's seniors.Status: Full-Time, Exempt Reports To: Executive Director Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 Benefits: Healthcare, Vision, Dental, 401(k)ABOUT THE ROLE:Lead our social work team in delivering mission-critical services to food-insecure seniors (60+) in Broward County who face isolation, poverty, and limited support systems. This supervisory role combines direct client service with team leadership and program development.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES_________________________________________________________________________________________________________TEAM LEADERSHIP• Supervise Social Worker Intake Coordinator and Social Work Interns• Conduct performance evaluations, assist in hiring, and staff development• Provide weekly supervision and support for interns' school assignments• Build partnerships with FAU and Barry University Schools of Social Work________________________________________________________________________________________________________PROGRAM OPERATIONS• Oversee client visit scheduling and case prioritization• Conduct in-home assessments to evaluate client needs• Manage intake processes (phone and email referrals)• Maintain accurate client documentation and database records (Servetracker CXM)________________________________________________________________________________________________________STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT• Collaborate with Executive Director on program design, assessment and grant writing• Develop ongoing Internship Recruitment Program• Build relationships with community organizations and businesses• Identify service gaps and connect clients with appropriate resources__________________________________________________________________________________________________________REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS• Master's Degree in Social Work • Certified Social Worker Field Supervisor• Valid Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation• Proficiency in MS Word/Excel; laptop/tablet experience preferred• Excellent written and verbal communication skills________________________________________________________________________________________________________ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES• Compassionate, non-judgmental approach to serving elderly populations• Cultural competency and ability to work with diverse communities• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal abilities• Commitment to high professional ethical standards• Professional, reliable, and presentable demeanor________________________________________________________________________________________________________WORK ENVIRONMENTRequires regular travel throughout Broward County for in-home client visits and community engagement.
