Do you want to be part of team that strives to create experiences that celebrate our seniors?The Leonard on Beverly is a premier luxury senior living community in Los Angeles, CA and is looking for a Restaurant Manager to join the team!Clearwater Living Associates Enjoy Great BenefitsExcellent benefits401(k)contributionsPaid Vacation and Sick leaveExciting opportunities to growDynamic and fast paced environmentCulture of people first and service alwaysThe Restaurant Manager is responsible for training, scheduling, directing and managing the dining room Servers to ensure residents receive the highest quality of customer service, efficiency and professionalism during their meal.Pay Range: $23.00-$26.00/hour (DOE)Schedule: 10:30am-7:00pm ResponsibilitiesRecruit, hire, train, motivate, and supervise dining staff in accordance with all company policies, procedures, and core valuesManage, schedule, evaluate and direct ServersEnsure that Servers work efficiently and professionally at all times Ensure a sanitary dining room complying with all health and safety codes, licensing regulations and policies and procedures regarding the proper handling and serving of food Supervise and direct the cleaning of all dining and food service areasDevelop and implement training, policies and processes to ensure that Servers are properly groomed, dressed and using proper etiquette and manners while waiting tables courteously, and professionallySurvey residents to determine their satisfaction levels with the service provided and make corrections as necessary Ensure that all residents are greeted and seated properly, making extra efforts to integrate new residents making them feel welcome and comfortableManage and track budget spending and goalsDisplay a positive and professional image through actions and maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform or clothing and name tag when workingRepresent the Clearwater Living principles and core values on a daily basisPerform other duties and tasks as assigned or requiredQualificationsAA degree or Bachelor’s degree (Gerontology, Kinesiology, Recreation Therapy, or Health Promotion) is preferable or combination of education and experience with developing and implementing programs for active agingMinimum one year of supervisory experience to include training and supervising staff and developing and managing a budgetServe safe certificate preferredFirst Aid/CPR/BLS Certification preferredBackground clearances as required by government regulationsMust meet health requirements, including TB Clearwater Living is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
