Second Shift Painter

Job Description Kress is looking for a full time painter to join our team on second shift. Paint team paints or coats surfaces of heavy mobile material handling equipment and associated parts for use in mining, mill operations, construction, and military service using commercial wet spray painting equipment Painter Responsibilities: Coordinate the completion of painting parts and vehicles with production team to ensure all jobs are done in accordance with quality and safety standards. Painter Job Duties: Communicate with production, maintenance, quality control, warehousing, and other departments to maintain a safe and effective environment and to ensure quality products Clean, sand, and coat parts with air powered equipment and tools, paint scrapers, and pneumatic paint guns Move totes, parts, and equipment using a pallet jack and/or fork lift Make adjustments to paint booth, guns and all equipment Ensure compliance with operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment and efficient operations Requirements: 2+ years prior commercial painting experience Ability to safely drive fork lift Position will receive an additional 15% second-shift premium.
