Operations Supervisor

Manage the dispatch of over the road line haul drivers, all safety aspects both in the building and on the road Preparing nightly reports Coordinating with packaging/contractors/distribution center Taking pallet product out to dock as needed Deliver product (if needed) Overseeing all operations and personnel on the dock Training of all Loading personnel Must ensure all trucks are loaded quickly and accurately to meet deadlines Ensure packages have invoices and labels as customers require Ensure packages are sorted with designated routes throughout the day Recommend ways to improve warehouse productivity and accuracy Report all IT issues immediately so a ticket can be created Work with the Terminal Manager and Shift Managers to ensure proper maintenance of the facilities, equipment and supplies Work with the TM and Shift Managers to ensure Safety Program initiatives are enforced, providing a safe and clean workplace for employees, while remaining in compliance with OSHA, state and local requirements, as applicable Exercise the usual authority of a supervisor with regards to training, coaching, performance issues, timekeeping and career development Shift will be 0600-1400 or work finished.
