Slip-Sheet Forklift Operator (Must Have Slip-Sheet Experience)

Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Slip-sheet/ Clamp Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for lifting and moving products by hand and by machine.2nd shift: 2pm pm-11:30 pm with overtime as needed.Pay: $ 18.75 HRLocation: PerrisRequirements:Must have a minimum 2 years of experience with Sit-down clamp/Slip-sheetKnowledge of inventory control and general warehouse proceduresLight data entry skills requiredAbility to read and comprehend basic instructions, to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and proceduresAbility to operate forklift – both sit down and stand up, tow motor, motorized and non-motorized pallet jack; clamp, reach and slip sheetAbility to write legiblyMust have basic math skillsAbility to make decisions on customer acceptance based on past experience and fitness for useMust have attention to detail for continuous mental and visual attentionResponsibilities:Know how to operate a Slip-sheet/ Clamp forkliftKnow how to move materials and products with a forklift. Be able to safely load and unload products with a forklift. Follow all safety procedures when operating a forklift. Know how to communicate with other employees in order to complete tasks.
