Fleet Manager - Amazon DSP

Job Title: Fleet Manager Amazon Delivery Service Partner Position Summary The Fleet Manager oversees the daily operation, maintenance, and compliance of the company’s delivery fleet. This position ensures all Amazon-branded and rental vehicles are road-ready, meet Amazon standards, and support efficient delivery operations. Key Responsibilities Manage a fleet of Amazon delivery vans and step vans. Schedule preventive maintenance, oil changes, tire replacements, inspections, and repairs. Monitor vehicle downtime and coordinate repairs with dealerships, vendors, and fleet management companies. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure DVICs are completed correctly. Track registration, insurance, licensing, and DOT compliance. Monitor vehicle damage and coordinate body shop repairs and insurance claims. Keep accurate maintenance records using spreadsheets and fleet management software. Manage vehicle assignments and fleet availability for daily route planning. Ensure Amazon fleet compliance standards are consistently met. Work with dispatch and operations teams to minimize route disruptions caused by vehicle issues. Order parts and supplies as needed. Perform fleet audits and identify opportunities to reduce maintenance costs. Train drivers on proper vehicle inspections, reporting damage, and safe operation. Respond to vehicle breakdowns and coordinate roadside assistance when necessary. Qualifications Experience managing commercial vehicles or transportation fleets. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of preventive maintenance and vehicle safety. Experience with Microsoft Excel and fleet tracking systems. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, drivers, and management. Valid driver’s license (CDL not typically required unless operating certain vehicles). Preferred Skills Amazon DSP experience. Knowledge of DOT regulations. Experience with Amazon Fleet Portal, Element Fleet, Geotab, or similar fleet management systems. Ability to analyze fleet metrics and improve vehicle utilization.
