We are recognized for our collaborative culture, commitment to excellence, and unwavering dedication to client advocacy.We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Orlando office.Position OverviewThe Litigation Paralegal will provide critical support to attorneys by managing key aspects of litigation matters, ensuring the efficient handling of case files, coordinating expert involvement, and supporting all phases of trial preparation. This position requires a highly organized professional with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSubpoena Preparation & Processing: Draft, issue, and track subpoenas; coordinate service of process and manage records production.Expert Coordination: Assist with retaining expert witnesses, facilitate communications, compile expert materials, and support deposition and trial preparation.Trial Preparation: Organize and prepare trial binders, exhibits, witness lists, and demonstrative evidence; assist attorneys with case logistics.Case Management: Maintain and organize case files while tracking deadlines and ensuring accuracy.Discovery Support: Assist with document review, and the drafting and responding to discovery requests.Court Filings: File pleadings and motions in both state and federal courts utilizing e-filing systems.Administrative Support: Communicate effectively with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel.Qualifications & SkillsAssociate’s degree or Paralegal Certification required.Minimum of 5+ years of litigation experience in a law firm or legal setting is required.Prior experience below this threshold will not be considered.Strong knowledge of subpoena procedures, court rules, and civil litigation processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, case management software, and legal research tools.Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.Experience with trial preparation and expert witness coordination is highly preferred.Why Join Us?Wicker Smith is proud to offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, competitive compensation and benefits, and meaningful opportunities for professional growth.
