EJBResponsibilities:As a Compass21 Application Developer, you will be responsible for analysis, design, coding, testing, maintenance, enhancement, and modernization of application components across multiple Texas Medicaid systems using CA Gen / AllFusion Gen / Cool:Gen and related technologies. You will support existing application functionality while contributing to modernization efforts that transition legacy components toward Java-based, cloud-ready, and integration-friendly solutions.Job Duties:• Maintain, enhance, troubleshoot, and support Compass21 application components across Texas Medicaid systems using CA Gen / AllFusion Gen / Cool:Gen, SQL, and related legacy technologies.• Analyze CA Gen models, action blocks, screen flows, batch jobs, interfaces, data dependencies, and integration points to understand current-state functionality and modernization impact.• Convert legacy business rules and application behavior into maintainable Java-based services, APIs, reusable components, and technical designs.• Support CA Gen-to-Java modernization activities, including current-state assessment, legacy-to-target mapping, conversion review, regression validation, and implementation support.• Troubleshoot production issues, analyze logs, resolve defects, and support release/deployment activities across legacy and modernized application components.• Assist with Java application deployment and runtime troubleshooting on application servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss/WildFly, Tomcat, or similar platforms.• Partner with business, client, architecture, testing, DevOps, and operations teams to clarify requirements, triage defects, manage dependencies, and confirm implementation readiness.• Prepare technical documentation, modernization impact notes, interface mappings, implementation plans, and knowledge-transfer materials for delivery and client teams.Nice-to-Have Skills: 1.
