We're a company built on integrity, customer commitment, and a culture where skilled people can grow real careers.About This Role We're hiring an experienced HVAC Service Technician for our Utah operations. This is a full-time field role focused on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC systems across a variety of building types.What You'll DoDiagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment including RTUs, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps.Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections to keep systems running efficiently and extend equipment life.Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues across a range of HVAC platforms.Replace or repair components such as motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats.Read and work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer documentation.Keep clients and team members informed on service findings and recommended next steps.Maintain thorough service records covering work completed, parts used, and system conditions.Perform all work in compliance with safety standards, applicable codes, and company policy.What You'll BringHigh school diploma or equivalent; HVAC technical training or certification preferred.4+ years of experience in a commercial HVAC service role.Hands-on experience with RTUs, VRV/VRF, VAV, split systems, chillers, boilers, and AHUs.Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.EPA 608 Universal Certification required.Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability.Effective communicator with solid customer service instincts.Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.Preferred QualificationsNATE certification or equivalent.Experience with digital service tools or mobile work order platforms.What You'll GetUp to $55/hour based on experience and qualifications.Medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) with company match.PTO and paid holidays.Training and certification opportunities.Why Join Kelso Industries?Join us and be part of a team dedicated to creating efficient, sustainable, and high-performance environments that make a lasting impact across the industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors.Here You Will ExperienceGrowth Opportunities: Develop new skills, take on exciting challenges, and advance your career in meaningful ways.Company Culture: You’ll thrive in an environment that supports your growth, values your contributions, and makes work fulfilling and enjoyable.Impact: Your work directly contributes to meaningful outcomes, allowing you to see the difference you make and feel a sense of purpose every day.Competitive Compensation & Benefits: You’ll be rewarded fairly for your contributions while enjoying perks that enhance your financial security, health, and overall well-being.Kelso Industries celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
