Electrical Superintendent
Overview
In this role you lead electrical construction projects for Walker Engineering’s DFW division, directing teams and subcontractors to deliver safe, timely, and high-quality work. You will implement and enforce the safety program, coordinate with inspectors and engineers, and manage planning, scheduling, and cost control to ensure project profitability. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, maintain documentation, and uphold standards. This position offers impact through strong leadership, safety culture, and on-site execution at scale.
ResponsibilitiesSafety program implementation and OSHA compliance for all personnelLead foremen and subcontractors; communicate plan and troubleshoot productivity issuesAttend pre-construction and technical meetings; coordinate work across crafts and subcontractorsMaintain 3-week forecast, materials procurement, equipment requisition, and schedule confirmationOversee quality control and ensure contractual obligations with subcontractorsAdministrative duties: timecards, invoices, as-built drawings, THA, daily reportsEnsure site housekeeping, secure work areas, and compliance with safety requirementsCoordinate with inspectors, engineers, and project managers; drive issue resolutionTravel up to 25% as required
