We're looking for a mid-career IT professional who thrives in a hands-on support role and is ready to take ownership of endpoint and mobile device environments in a mission-driven organization.What You'll DoIn this role, you'll provide frontline technical support while helping manage our endpoint and mobility ecosystem in a Microsoft-based environment. You'll handle a mix of user support, device administration, and advanced troubleshooting.Key Responsibilities:Respond to and resolve technical issues through Jira Service Management, ensuring timely and accurate documentationTroubleshoot hardware, software, printers, and basic network connectivity across desktops, laptops, and mobile devicesInstall, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and peripheralsManage user accounts, access, and basic identity tasks in line with IT policiesSupport endpoint lifecycle management using Microsoft Intune or similar toolsAdminister mobile devices and MDM platforms (e.g., Miradore), including carrier account management (Verizon)Conduct monthly audits of mobile devices and billing; coordinate with Finance as neededPerform advanced troubleshooting requiring administrative access while following security protocolsDocument solutions and contribute to knowledge base improvementsIdentify recurring issues and help improve processes and standardizationEscalate complex or high-impact issues appropriatelyProvide user training, onboarding support, and basic security awareness guidanceWhat You BringAssociate degree in a STEM field or High School Diploma with relevant IT certificationsAt least 2 years of IT support experience (beyond basic helpdesk preferred)Experience with endpoint management (Intune or similar) and/or MDM platforms preferredFamiliarity with iOS, Android, and mobile carrier account administration is a plusStrong working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365Basic networking and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindsetAbility to work independently and know when to escalate issuesWork Environment & RequirementsValid driver's license and insurable driving record requiredAbility to lift/move IT equipment and travel occasionallyRegular onsite attendance requiredFlexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call supportPerks & BenefitsPaid holidays, vacation, and sick leaveHealth, dental, and vision insurance403(b) retirement plan with company matchCompany-paid $75K life insuranceAccess to counseling and support servicesCoastal Credit Union membershipWho We AreMethodist Home for Children helps youth turn their lives around through safe homes, education, and strong role models.
