Position SummaryObtains, calculates and compiles data for use in conceptual/bid proposal estimates, preparing routine estimates under general supervision.Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for ensuring that all quantity surveys and pricing are accurate and completeProvide support for the development of bidding strategies by debriefing the salesperson of job elementsLeads the documentation management of the project, ensures all documents are complete and clearly conveys decisions made to sales and operations teams.Attend pre-bid meetings to discuss project specifics and scopeParticipate in bid closings and estimate reviewsBalance workload and assignments to meet deadlinesDevelop a value analysis study by defining alternatives to the proposed scope that are more cost-efficientManage action items from Post Bid and finalize ISEC scope.Compute cost estimates for materials, purchased equipment, subcontracted work, production activities and requirements, and labor.Other DutiesPlease note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing or activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
