CNC Programmer/Machinist Trainee

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer /Machinist. This role is responsible for programming, sizing materials, setting up, and operating CNC vertical milling producing aluminum thermoform tooling. Oversee daily operations in the tool room. The ideal candidate has strong experience in CNC programming, machining, tooling selection, dimensional inspection, along with the ability to create or modify CNC programs using Gibbs software. Gibbs training available, paid for by the company. Responsibilities Prep materials as needed for machining Work efficiently in CAM(Gibbs) programming Set up CNC mills ensuring proper tooling, fixtures and accuracy Ability to read drawings Operate CNC’s ensuring proper efficiencies and performance Ability to communicate at all levels Use all micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, depth gauges to measure accuracy of parts and tooling Work with production on repair parts needed Must have tools Skills Exceptional attention to detail Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
