Quarry Worker

Quarry Worker Polycor Pennsylvania is looking for hard-working, positive team players to fill General Quarry Worker positions at our Elverson, PA location. This is a year-round outdoor job involving the extraction of granite from our quarry. Responsibilities Operate drilling equipment. Operate saws to cut large blocks of granite from the open pit quarry. Follow policies and procedures to assure quality work. Maintain a clean work area. Work safely, according to guidelines and training, to prevent possible injuries to self and others. Perform additional duties as required. Requirements Authorized to work in the United States. Ability to perform work outdoors regardless of weather and the elements. Must be willing to work overtime, if required. Must have a valid driver's license. Being comfortable with heights. Lift and/or move over 50 pounds. Training We offer training that will advance your knowledge, skills, and abilities within the industry. No experience necessary. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb ladders, balance, and stoop, kneel and crouch. Working Conditions Employment status: Permanent / Full-time.
