Job DescriptionPlant Supervisor - Food Manufacturing Full-time/On-siteAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Plant Supervisor to oversee daily production operations within a high-volume frozen bakery manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and consistent production across multiple high-speed manufacturing lines producing laminated dough and frozen baked goods.The Plant Supervisor will play a key role in driving production performance, maintaining strict food safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily production activities across multiple lines, including mixing, laminating, proofing, freezing, and packagingDrive key production KPIs including yield, throughput, waste reduction, and labor efficiencyEnsure compliance with SQF/BRC food safety standards, GMPs, HACCP protocols, and all regulatory requirementsLead, coach, and develop shift supervisors, operators, and production team membersMonitor product quality, dough consistency, and finished goods specificationsPartner with maintenance and sanitation teams to minimize downtime and support equipment reliabilityAnalyze production data including scrap, downtime, and efficiency metrics to identify improvement opportunitiesEnforce all safety procedures and ensure OSHA compliance across the facilityCoordinate shift scheduling and staffing needs to meet production demandRequired Qualifications3-7+ years of experience in food manufacturing (bakery or frozen food production strongly preferred)Experience in high-speed, high-volume production environmentsStrong leadership and team development skillsFamiliarity with ERP and/or MES systems for production reportingKnowledge of GMP, SQF, or BRC food safety standards preferredPreferred QualificationsSQF Practitioner CertificationHACCP CertificationOSHA 30 CertificationLean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher)PCQI CertificationCompensation$65,000 - $95,000 annually (based on experience) How to ApplyInterested candidates should submit a resume directly to kylla.olsen@gogpac.com or call 515-671-2172 for immediate consideration.
