Company Description redM is a movement dedicated to transforming the lives of survivors of sexual exploitation by supporting their journey from survival to restoration. Partnering with nonprofit organizations, we provide access to resources and therapeutic services that enable survivors to rebuild their lives. By organizing impactful events and leveraging the skills of professionals through crowdsourcing, we raise awareness and funding to combat sexual exploitation. Role Description This is an on-site volunteer role located in Boston, MA for a Community Leader. The Community Leader will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating events aimed at raising awareness and funds to support survivors of sexual exploitation. Responsibilities include community outreach, building partnerships with local organizations, recruiting volunteers, and creating positive event experiences. This individual will play a key role in fostering an engaged and welcoming community, amplifying redM’s mission and impact. Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking and active listeningExperience in event coordination, volunteer management, and community engagementAbility to network and build relationships with nonprofit organizations and partnersCreative problem-solving skills and project management experiencePassion for supporting survivors of sexual exploitation and commitment to redM’s missionAdaptability and a collaborative mindset to work effectively in a team environmentKnowledge of social issues related to human trafficking is a plusBachelor’s degree in Social Work, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is beneficial
