The Elevator Mechanic will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation systems. Daily tasks include conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring systems meet safety and performance standards. This role also involves working closely with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and uphold safety regulations.QualificationsProficiency in Elevator Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and ElevatorsStrong knowledge of Electricity and electrical systems as they relate to elevatorsExperience with Maintenance & Repair of mechanical systemsAbility to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematicsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailCapability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a team environmentPhysical ability to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting and working in confined spacesRelevant professional certifications or completion of an accredited apprenticeship program preferred
