Front-end Data Science Engineer

Develop front-end website architecture and work alongside UI/UX designers to implement user interactions in web applications. Perform the following duties:Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile and tablet users, and ensure overall responsiveness of applicationsWork alongside data scientists and data engineers to develop novel UI/UX methods to demonstrate data science value to users in web applicationsIdentify strengths and weaknesses in collected data and implement user interfaces to illustrate these strengths and weaknessesDevelop custom UI/UX implementations for custom data models and algorithms that have been applied to data setsResearch and implementation of appropriate data science algorithms and user interface toolsSelect appropriate UI and data representation methods and keep abreast of the latest research in the fieldFull-time telecommuting is permitted.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalentRequires two (2) years of experience in an Engineering, or related role working with the following:React, TypeScript, GraphQLNest.js, TypeORM, PostgreSQLPython, CSS, HTML, FigmaUI component libraries including Material UI, Tailwind, Chakra UI, Ant DesignWeb securityWeb development techniques such as server-side renderingJamstack architectures including Vercel, NetlifyNote: This notice is provided as a result of the anticipated filing of an application for permanentlabor certification for this job opportunity.
