This internship provides hands-on exposure to real industrial processes and customer environments, offering practical experience in engineering support, process optimization, and tool deployment.How You'll Help The FormulaProcess & Tool Development:Support the design and development of process-related tools, fixtures, or documentation.Assist in the production and preparation of tools for internal and customer use.Create and update technical documentation, work instructions, and test protocols related to process tools.Implementation & TestingSupport the implementation of tools under guidance of experienced engineers.Assist with testing, validation, and troubleshooting of tools and processes during trials.Collect test data, document results, and provide feedback to support continuous improvement.Project SupportParticipate in process-related projects from concept through implementation.Collaborate with engineering and cross boarder teams to ensure solutions meet application requirements.Support coordination of project tasks, timelines, and follow-up actions.Other duties as assigned.Key Elements For Your RoleEnrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, or related field).Strong interest in mechanical engineering, tooling, and hands-on technical work.Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Good communication skills and willingness to work in customer-facing situations.Experience with basic CAD tools, test methods, or manufacturing/process environments.Interest in automotive, industrial or manufacturing applications; preferred.Comfortable working in hands-on, shop-floor, or customer site environments; preferred.Local travel to Grand Rapids/Sparta up to 10%.Posted on: 3/2/2026#APlaceForYoutesa tape
