OVERVIEW:
Perform support and coordination duties within the preconstruction department.
EDUCATION:
Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
LICENSING:
Required: Vehicle Driver
Preferred: Notary Public
EXPERIENCE:
Requires 1 or more years of experience in the construction industry.
Requires 1 or more years of experience in a business office performing the following functions: data entry, organizational duties, and basic computer functions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Requires excellent organizational skills, ability to plan projects and jobs, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug tests and comply with company drug policies.
Must be proficient on the PC with Microsoft Office applications.
Has the ability and project the image of a successful, professional company in a positive, friendly, upbeat manner with the public both in person and on the phone.
Requires the ability to guide, direct, and coordinate the work of multiple activities at the same time.
Assists the Preconstruction Team in soliciting and following up with the status of bid proposals from trade partners.
Assists Preconstruction Team with plan and specification distribution, printing needs, creating binders & labels, files estimates, and schedules.
Assists Preconstruction Team in maintaining and expanding trade partner database software “Smart Bid”.
Assists Preconstruction Team in making calls to subcontractors to ensure bid coverage.
Assists Preconstruction Team Project Management Software (Procore): Uploads and organizes project plans, specifications, and other project documentation, including project set-up, contacts, notifications, meeting minutes, and creating a submittal register/log.
Assists Preconstruction Team in completing consistent and accurate take-offs.
Assists Preconstruction Team in preparing all bond requests and insurance quotes.
Makes copies, scans, prints labels, ships packages, runs bids, and assists with errands
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,960.46 - $51,737.32 per year
