It was adapted from the 1901 American Standard Version Bible. This is a faithful, literal Bible translation. It is available to all and is openly licensed. There are also tools and Bible resources to complement the ULB.As with any faithful translation of the Bible, revision will be needed to ensure accuracy. We are seeking a team of volunteers who have Biblical backgrounds, and are passionate about God's Word, to help us with this revision. For this important role, we are hoping for theological reviewers with higher level degrees, (Masters or Doctorate level) who are qualified to check this work for publication. Also needed are reviewers with a background in English or linguistics to help with editing, checking and formatting of the translation. For the editors, degrees at a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate level would be appreciated.In terms of scope, this revision includes both long-term and short-term work. This is a large-scale project, but there are options available even for volunteers who only have a short amount of time.
