Role Description We are seeking a Field Technician for a full-time, on-site role based in Long Branch, NJ. As a Field Technician, your daily responsibilities include conducting field inspections, identifying pest species, applying pest control treatments, and documenting field activities. You will assist in collecting and analyzing field data, ensuring equipment maintenance, and educating the public about methods to prevent vector-borne diseases. Collaboration with team members and adherence to safety guidelines are critical components of this role. Qualifications Basic knowledge of pest control procedures, vector identification, and environmental health. Previous experience in pest management or a related field is advantageous.Practical skills in conducting field surveys, data collection, and accurate record-keeping.Effective communication skills to engage with the public and provide educational information on pest prevention measures.Physical capability to lift equipment, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and navigate through diverse terrains.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel locally for fieldwork.High school diploma or equivalent educational background. Advanced training or certifications in pest management or environmental studies are a plus.Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety protocols. Familiarity with GPS tools or mapping software is a bonus.
