CNC Sales Engineer

**Must be located in WESTERN PA (ideally within 50 mile radius of Pittsburgh)**Job Description:Client team is growing and adding a CNC Sales Engineer. Candidate will promote the sales of machine tool manufacturing solutions within the Western Pennsylvania territory. This role will build long-term customer relationships, working directly with prospects and end users on full-cycle sales activities for metal-cutting and EDM machinery including horizontal machining centers (HMCs) 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining centers, graphite machining centers, automation, and wire and sinker EDMs. Company is a key distributor of advanced machine tools and related technology, providing engineering and support services for manufacturers of precision machined parts.Responsibilities:Accountable for overall territory management, achievement of equipment sales goals, profitability and account management for assigned product linesDevelop and strengthen new and existing relationships with customers, prospects, and suppliers to secure new business, increase revenue, and convert competitive end-users to our products’ solutionsProvide technical expertise, machine tool and part processing recommendations and ongoing supportAssist with time studies, deal sheets, and quotationsBecome a trusted advisor and educate customers on products, concepts, & industry trends to drive greater market adoptionCommunicate with internal and external customers to deliver on customer pre-sale needs, including but not limited to in-depth product presentations and demonstrations, automation opportunities, test cuts, etc.Drive post-sales communication with the highest level of integrity and sensitivity to resolve difficult customer issues, supporting service and parts needs for outstanding end user satisfactionUpdate and maintain sales activities within CRM (Salesforce)Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to leadership as neededParticipate in regional industry associations and become actively involved to attract new opportunitiesDevelop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry, product lines, and competitorsRequirements:Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in technical related field preferred; equivalent working experience will be consideredPrevious experience within Industrial, Manufacturing, or Capital Sales Proven track record of success in B2B sales requiredFormal Sales Training is highly beneficial (SPIN, Challenger, IMPACT selling, Sandler, etc.)High level of technical skills including ability to read/interpret blueprints and other engineering documentsExperience with SolidWorks, CAD/CAM, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite highly preferred.Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territory, in addition to headquarters and other partner eventsMust maintain valid driver’s license and insurance
