We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to join our team in Texas. As a PE, you will be responsible for applying your engineering expertise to manage and oversee projects, ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, and provide technical solutions to complex challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results and maintain safety, efficiency, and excellence in all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide expert advice and technical guidance to clients, team members, and stakeholders.
· Review, approve and stamp engineering drawings, plans, and calculations.
· Ensure that all projects are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
· Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
· Oversee the work of junior engineers and other team members, providing mentorship and guidance.
· Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
· Conduct site inspections and assess project conditions to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
· Lead the engineering of the discipline or multidisciplines for the bid and/or project, complying with the established schedule and budget, in accordance with the quality and constructibility requirements of the client and the company.
· Be the Company Engineering Leader in all matters related to compliance with local regulations, drawing stamping and local best practices for engineering and construction.
· Management of change orders during the project.
Qualifications:
· Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Texas.
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Electrical)
· Minimum of 10 years of experience construction industry, preference will be given to experience in steelmaking and related projects.
· Strong knowledge of Texas state engineering laws, regulations, and codes.
· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
· Ability to work both independently and in team environments.
· Proficiency in engineering design software and other related tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Registration as a Professional Engineer with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors
Important: Availability to travel: 25%
Office attendance will be four days per week, with one day of emote work (Home Office)
Salary range: $160K – $180K annual.
