Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Python Platform Automation Engineer with expertise in platform engineering, automation, and DevOps. The ideal candidate will have strong Python development skills along with experience in Linux, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability tools to build scalable automation solutions and improve platform reliability.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of Python development
- Platform automation/tooling experience
- Linux & shell scripting
- Kubernetes & DockerCI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Prometheus, Grafana, logging & monitoringSQL fundamentalsREST APIsOAuth2, SSO, JWTStrong troubleshooting and debugging
Preferred Skills:
- Ansible, Terraform, Helm
- Platform Engineering/IDPSRE concepts (SLIs/SLOs)
- Cloud-native technologiesAI-assisted automation
- Ideal Profile:
Strong Python developer with hands-on platform automation experience who has built internal tools, automation frameworks, or platform services. Candidates with primarily DevOps backgrounds and limited Python development are not the best fit.
