Technical expertise: Experience leading multidisciplinary transportation program development that includes planning, traffic analysis, project scoping, environmental review, right of way, and survey coordination; and experience directing engineering decisions, aligning resources, and ensuring timely, well-coordinated project readiness. Leadership: Experience leading and managing organizational initiatives and developing and implementing innovative solutions to complex issues. Experience leading and motivating direct reports and other staff to accomplish projects or programs. Fiscal: Experience managing large, complex budgets including allocating resources. Communication/Human relations: Strong oral and written communication skills with experience building and maintaining relationships with staff and a variety of agencies, organizations and/or stakeholders.
