About the Role We're looking for a hands on Electrical Engineer to help design, build, and validate advanced hardware systems used for product development and testing. You'll work across electrical, mechanical, and software disciplines to integrate instrumentation, automation, controls, and data acquisition into laboratory and prototype platforms. This is an opportunity to build real hardware from day one and help shape the electrical architecture of a rapidly growing deep tech company. Responsibilities Design electrical systems for laboratory equipment and prototype hardware. Integrate sensors, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems. Develop wiring harnesses, power distribution, and low voltage control systems. Interface with pumps, motors, valves, and other electromechanical components. Design and prototype custom PCBs for sensing, control, and communication. Develop automation and control systems using microcontrollers, PLCs, or embedded platforms. Support system bring up, debugging, validation, and reliability testing. Collaborate closely with mechanical and software engineers throughout the product development cycle. Document electrical designs, schematics, and test procedures. Identify and troubleshoot electrical, communication, and integration issues. Qualifications BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design. Experience with embedded systems, hardware interfaces, or control systems. Experience with sensors, instrumentation, and signal conditioning. Comfortable working with laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters. Strong troubleshooting skills and a hands on engineering mindset.Nice to Have Experience with industrial automation or control systems. Experience with Python, C, or C++. Experience developing automated test equipment. Familiarity with thermal systems, fluid systems, or industrial equipment. Startup or rapid prototyping experience.
