Located in Barre, VT, we are committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism, safety, and environmental stewardship.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role in Barre, VT, for a Waste Coordinator. The Waste Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating waste disposal, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Daily tasks will include overseeing waste logistics, maintaining accurate records, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring adherence to industry standards for proper handling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. QualificationsKnowledge of waste management, hazardous material handling, and environmental complianceOrganizational and project management skills, including logistics coordination and record-keepingCommunication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members, vendors, and clientsProblem-solving abilities and attention to detail, ensuring adherence to safety and industry standardsRelevant certifications such as HAZWOPER or a similar hazardous materials management certification (preferred)Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and reportingExperience in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field is a plusPrior experience in a similar role within environmental services or waste management sectors is highly desirable
