Construction Engineer
Overview
As a Construction Engineer for aviation projects in Hunt Valley, MD, you will oversee on-site documentation, coordination, and compliance with project plans and aviation standards. You will manage schedules, budgets, quality, safety, and field operations to ensure conformance with specifications. You’ll perform inspections, track quantities, and support stakeholders through RFIs and change orders. ResponsibilitiesManage construction projects including schedules, budgets, quality, safety, and field operationsConduct on-site inspections and walk-downs to verify conformance with designsPerform quantity surveys and track progress against budgets and milestonesProvide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyorsMaintain on-site documentation (daily reports, inspection logs, records) per aviation standardsCoordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely material delivery and schedulesProcess and track RFIs and change orders with proper approvalsConduct material testing and QA inspections to verify complianceMonitor progress and report milestones and budget status to management and clients
