GitHub Actions Support Engineer

We are looking for a seasoned GitHub Actions Support Engineer to provide expert troubleshooting and optimize CI/CD pipelines for our development teams.Qualifications:Must-Have:Git Expertise: Strong command of Git version control, including experience with GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket, to effectively manage code repositories and collaborate with development teams.CI/CD Mastery: Deep understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment principles, practices, and tools. Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.Programming Proficiency: A solid foundation in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.) enables you to script custom actions, integrate tools, and analyze build logs effectively.Good to have:Java: Experience with Java development, particularly in building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines for Java-based applications.API Integration: Familiarity with REST APIs and webhooks to connect GitHub Actions with other tools and services in our ecosystem.eCP: Knowledge of eCP (Enterprise Content Platform) is a plus, as it may be integrated into our CI/CD processes.JIRA: Experience with JIRA for issue tracking and project management, as it will be used to track and prioritize support requests.Python: Python scripting skills can be valuable for automating tasks, analyzing data, and extending the capabilities of GitHub Actions.Roles & Responsibilities -Expert Support: Provide in-depth technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues related to GitHub Actions-based CI/CD pipelines. This includes diagnosing configuration errors, workflow failures, and integration problems.Collaboration & Optimization: Work closely with development teams to understand their CI/CD needs, recommend best practices, and implement optimizations to improve build times, reliability, and overall efficiency.Incident Response: Participate in on-call rotation to address critical pipeline incidents, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operation of our software delivery processes.Mandatory Skills -GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Java
