Nurse Practitioner - Occupational Health
Healthcare staffing organization is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for an occupational health assignment in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This role provides outpatient employee health services, including injury evaluation, fitness-for-duty exams, and occupational medicine support in a collaborative clinical setting.About the Opportunity:Shift: Day shiftSchedule: Flexible schedule, approximately 2-3 days per weekHours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PMSetting: Outpatient occupational health clinicResponsibilities:Perform pre-placement and employment physical examinationsConduct return-to-work evaluations and fit-for-duty examinationsEvaluate and manage workplace injuries and worker's compensation casesOrder, interpret, and review diagnostic testing and other clinical studiesMaintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with occupational health regulationsQualifications:Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner programCurrent Nurse Practitioner licensure in the State of New JerseyCurrent DEA registrationCurrent CDS licenseDOT certificationSignificant occupational medicine or corporate health experienceExperience managing worker's compensation casesDesired Skills:Current BLS certificationStrong clinical assessment and diagnostic skillsExperience working independently in an outpatient occupational health settingKnowledge of occupational medicine regulations and workplace safety standardsExcellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
