Financial Analyst

OverviewA growing, privately held organization is looking to add a Financial Analyst to its team. This role will partner closely with the Finance Manager and broader business leaders to support planning, reporting, and strategic analysis across the organization. This is a high-impact position for someone who enjoys digging into data, building insights, and working cross-functionally to help guide business decisions.What You'll Be DoingSupport the budgeting and forecasting process, including gathering inputs and tracking performance against planAssist with monthly close deliverables, including variance analysis and reporting packagesAnalyze financial results and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvementPartner with teams across operations, commercial, and leadership to validate assumptions and improve forecast accuracyBuild and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis and business initiativesHelp prepare presentations and reporting materials for leadership reviewContribute to long-range planning and strategic initiativesIdentify ways to streamline reporting and improve existing financial processesWhat Success Looks LikeAble to translate financial data into clear, actionable insightsBuilds strong relationships across teams and becomes a go-to finance partnerDemonstrates attention to detail while managing multiple prioritiesComfortable working both independently and collaborativelyQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field~2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related roleExperience working with financial data in an ERP or reporting systemStrong Excel skills (modeling, analysis, data manipulation)Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or month-end processes preferredAbility to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholdersNice to HaveExperience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)Familiarity with financial planning tools or large datasetsBackground in a fast-paced or growing organizationWhy This RoleHigh visibility to leadershipOpportunity to influence key business decisionsStrong exposure across multiple areas of the businessClear path for growth within finance Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
