Data Center Foreman / Supervisor
Location: TBDReports To: Project Manager / Site SuperintendentJob Type: Full-TimeTravel: [As applicable]Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Foreman/Supervisor to lead teams of 30–50 technicians based on location in the installation and support of infrastructure within a mission-critical data center environment . This role is responsible for daily supervision, quality assurance, safety compliance, and ensuring project milestones are met on time and within scope.Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the work of installation crews (cable techs, electricians, rack & stack teams, etc.)Ensure work is completed according to project specifications, safety standards, and timelinesServe as the main point of contact between field teams and project managementMaintain accurate documentation of daily progress, workforce attendance, incidents, and material usageConduct daily toolbox talks and enforce PPE and safety protocols on-siteOversee the installation of racking, cable tray systems, fiber/copper terminations, and power connectivityIdentify and resolve field-level issues in real-time to avoid project delaysMentor, train, and provide performance feedback to crew membersCoordinate with logistics and procurement to ensure materials and tools are available on-siteAttend project meetings and provide status updates to management and clients as neededQualifications: 5+ years of experience in data center, electrical, or low-voltage environments; 2+ years in a supervisory or foreman roleBilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, but not requiredProven leadership managing teams of 30–50 workersStrong understanding of data center infrastructure, including racking, cabling, and power systemsWorking knowledge of ANSI/TIA, BICSI, and OSHA standardsAbility to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable using digital tools for reporting and task tracking (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, or equivalent)Ability to adapt to dynamic project schedules and prioritiesPhysical Requirements: Ability to work on your feet for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsComfortable working in a construction or live data center environmentWillingness to work extended hours, weekends, and travel as requiredPreferred Qualifications: OSHA 30 CertificationBICSI Technician or RCDD CertificationExperience with fiber optic and copper cabling installation standardsFirst Aid/CPR CertificationWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply.Powered by JazzHR
