The role also involves operating various types of heavy equipment such as off‑road haul trucks, water trucks, quarry trucks, and stock trucks. Team members will receive cross‑training in multiple areas of the aggregate production facility, with opportunities for growth and advancement.Compensation And Company Benefits$23.50-$27.50 per hour Paid Time Off Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverageResponsibilitiesDismantle and reassemble heavy plant components using hoists and hand toolsRepair or replace damaged and worn partsDiagnose mechanical issues using inspection methods and diagnostic tools, including computerized test equipmentTest equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specificationsPerform routine maintenance, including lubrication, oil and filter changes, and equipment cleaningExamine parts for wear using micrometers, gauges, and other precision toolsRead and interpret operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawingsOperate heavy equipment such as haul trucks, water trucks, crawler tractors, cranes, shovels, graders, and related machineryLoad, move, and transport materials including dirt, rock, and equipmentFollow all OSHA/MSHA safety regulations and wear required PPE in designated areasEnsure compliance with company standards for equipment operation, material handling, and product movementMaintain strict adherence to Dolomite policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee ManualRequirementsValid driver’s license High school diploma or GED preferredMechanically inclined, previous mining experience preferredPhysical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this role, employees may be required to operate 40‑, 50‑, or 60‑ton trucks, articulated stock trucks, or water trucks for extended periods. The position frequently requires crawling, kneeling, bending, climbing vertical ladders, and reaching above shoulder height. Employees must occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
