Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: The Manager, Training and Education is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the training and education of clients and employees on Lightbeam Health Solutions products. This role will focus on leading organization-wide learning efforts including working with the Operations department to train client-facing employees and creating training programs for new and established clients. Training sessions are conducted virtually, via Microsoft Teams, onsite at the client’s office, or at our corporate office.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage training materials including curriculum, agendas, materials, and initiativesManage the Education and Training Specialist teamOversee and conduct training sessions for end users; onsite, at corporate office, and virtuallyPlan, design, and facilitate training sessions, on a quarterly basis, at the Lightbeam corporate office and virtuallyCollaborate with Client Success team members to schedule and deliver client training seriesInform Lightbeam project owner of any client issues that affect their assigned clientsAddress client feedback and concerns promptly, seeking opportunities to enhance the client experienceServe as a subject matter expert and resource on the Lightbeam Health product’s features and functionalityEnsure internal and external learners receive appropriate and effective training enabling them to fulfill their job responsibilities as applicable to the Lightbeam productMeasure and evaluate the effectiveness of trainings and implement improvementsMonitor key performance indicators and operational metrics related to department goalsMeet/exceed client, department, and company goalsProactively review product roadmap and assess for future training needsCollaborate with other managers within the company to identify current training needs within their departmentCollaborate with other managers within the company to ensure client satisfaction and identify training opportunitiesContinuously collaborate with other team members to improve training processes, implementation, and product service offeringsAssist with new product testing and troubleshootingReceive Lightbeam Certified Professional (LCP) certification within 30 days of hire date and recertify every two yearsParticipate in special projects and perform other duties as requiredQUALIFYING JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledgeable on adult learning theory and incorporate principles into facilitation of training sessionsPrevious experience managing a teamProven working experience as a trainer within the healthcare IT industryPassion for teaching and keen ability to coach othersExperience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and learning management systemsEnergetic collaborator with positive attitudeWillingness and ability to travel up to 20%Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize workProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional softwareAbility to manage multiple projectsGood interpersonal skillsAbility to speak to all levels within an organization, including c-suiteAbility to present to large and small audiencesAbility to analyze problems and strategize for better solutionsWorking knowledge of claims and clinical dataExceptionally good attention to detail and accuracyAbility to plan and arrange activitiesAbility to manage conflictCapacity to work effectively under pressureAbility to interpret client questions to provide proper guidancePossess a valid driver’s licenseKEY COMPENTENCES: Critical thinking and problem-solving skillsPlanning and organizingDecision-makingCommunication skillsInfluencing and leadingCustomer-centric mindsetFriendly personality and presenceTeamwork and positivityLead with recommendationsAnalytical thinkingAdaptabilityEDUCATION AND/OR RELATED EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in education, healthcare, business, information technology, or equivalent experienceExperience as a trainer, corporate training specialist, or related positionExperience in managing people (leadership, performance evaluation, and HR functions) for at least two yearsCertification from talent and training associations is a plusPosition Security ClassificationCRITERIA: POSITION RISK LEVELHigh Risk (if any of these are true)Access to Restricted information, including PHI and PIIElevated access privilegesAccess to the Security InfrastructureMedium RiskAccess to Confidential, but not to Restricted informationLow RiskAccess to Unclassified information onlyManager, Education and Training: HighCRITERIA: SECURITY ROLES & RESPONIBILITIESSecurity Roles & Responsibilities: Approve security-related changesExecute security-related changesNot applicablePolicy/procedures for LightbeamCyber Security Incident Response (CSIRT) teamManager, Education and Training: Not Applicable (Security Related Changes)SECURITY ROLE-SPECIFIC TRAININGAnnual Incident Response Exercises
