Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical UnitLocation: Ithaca, NYJob Type: Contract (13 Weeks)Assignment Details:Shift: Variable (Days/Nights)Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical Unit at a leading healthcare facility. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care in an acute care setting, ensuring high standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.Responsibilities:Provide patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in a timely mannerAdminister medications and treatments as prescribedMaintain accurate and timely patient documentation using EMR systemsCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate careEducate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructionsEnsure adherence to infection control, safety, and hospital policiesRequirements:Active RN license (state-specific or compact)BLS (Basic Life Support) certification requiredACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification requiredNIHSS (Stroke Scale Certification) requiredMinimum 2 years of recent experience in a similar-sized acute care facilityEpic EMR experience requiredAbility to work weekends and flexible shiftsMaximum 7 days of RTO (Requested Time Off) allowedPatient Ratio:1:5 to 1:6For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807
