Learn more: https://www.stmarysregional.comWhat You’ll DoAs an RN in the Cath Lab, you’ll provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology and cardiac procedures. You’ll assess patient needs, implement evidence‑based interventions, and ensure safe, seamless care throughout each procedure. Responsibilities include:Assessing patient needs including psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, educational, physical, and population‑specific factorsMonitoring vascular and cardiac procedures including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and level of consciousnessManaging supplies and equipment such as catheters, guidewires, PTA balloons, IV solutions, and interventional cardiac supplies (PTCA, stents)Training and orienting new staff to IR/Cath Lab procedures, equipment, and workflowsProviding post‑procedure care, including monitoring and holding arterial pressureDelivering safe, accurate nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, and evaluationResponding to call and arriving within 30 minutes when neededThis role is ideal for a clinically strong RN who thrives in a high‑acuity environment and is comfortable taking call.What We OfferSt. Mary’s provides a supportive environment where respiratory professionals can grow, lead, and make a meaningful impact.
