Parts Counter Person

Sell spare and replacement parts and equipment in repair shop or parts store. Providing service for customers and help assist in either new or used parts according to the parts request. Responsible for inventory control, working with yard personnel, shipping, and receiving parts, inspection of cores (turbo, steering box, air compressor, etc.) pricing of used parts, coordination with yard personnel for the removal of used parts, responsible for the use of POS system and charges to customers along with register reconciliation. Responsible for measurements and cross references of parts for customers. High School Diploma - or the equivalent (for example, GED) Previous in counter parts help, customer service and mechanical experience (mechanic and repair technologies) preferred.
