The opportunities are endless.Job OverviewThe Garden Care Team Member plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing the beauty and health of our clients' landscapes throughout the seasons. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in detailed work, and are eager to learn about plant care and landscape maintenance. Team Members work under the direction of a Team Leader and contribute to seasonal services including spring and fall cleanups, as well as ongoing summer garden maintenance.Responsibilities and DutiesLead and direct daily garden care operations at assigned propertiesPerform and supervise garden maintenance including pruning, edging, weeding, mulching, debris removal, and plant careMonitor plant health and communicate concerns to the Production Manager as neededLoad, unload, and transport tools, materials, and debrisTrain and coach team members on proper horticultural practices and equipment useProvide constructive feedback and reinforce attention to detail with team membersOversee crew time tracking, including clock in/out proceduresCoordinate and release materials as needed for each siteEnsure all work meets company quality standards prior to leaving each propertyMaintain a clean, organized truck and trailerCommunicate effectively with supervisors regarding job progress, challenges, and material needsOperate tools and equipment safely and enforce all safety guidelines and company proceduresOther duties as assigned Job RequirementsHigh school diploma (degree in horticulture recommended).Demonstrate professionalism and strong communication skills with clients, team members, and managementFoster teamwork, accountability, and pride in workmanshipStrong work ethic and willingness to learn new skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsAbility to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding workReliable attendance and ability to work long days as project schedules requireAbility to work outdoors in variable weather conditions, including heat and humidityAbility to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and work on uneven surfaces and terrainMust possess and maintain a valid Michigan Driver's License. A CDL with class C endorsement is preferred.
