Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Innovation Kitchen Chef located in Meridian, ID. The FoodSpace Chef is responsible for running the Innovation/Test Kitchen at HQ and supporting the company’s growth through culinary innovation, client demonstrations, and business development. This role leads menu and concept development, testing, and training, while continuing to provide culinary, operations, and equipment consulting for clients.QualificationsCulinary skills in recipe development, menu creation, and food preparation techniquesExperience in kitchen management, staff supervision, and maintaining operational efficiencyUnderstanding of food safety, sanitation practices, and quality control standardsKnowledge of food sourcing, ingredient selection, and cost-effective purchasingPassion for innovation and familiarity with emerging food trends and global cuisinesStrong communication and leadership skills to effectively train and collaborate with team membersAbility to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a commitment to excellenceCulinary certification or degree from an accredited culinary institution is preferredPrior experience in a similar role or food product development is a plus
