Safety Manager

Title: Safety ManagerLocation: Little Rock, AR areaLooking for a hands-on safety leader who doesn’t want to sit behind a desk all day. This is a high-impact, boots-on-the-ground role where you’ll own safety across transportation and warehouse operations and truly make a difference. You’ll step into a site that’s already high-performing, but needs a proactive safety leader to drive the next level.About the role: ✅ Lead safety for the entire operation (warehouse, transportation, etc.) ✅ Be on the floor and in the field (ride alongs, night shift exposure, driver interaction) ✅ Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement real solutions ✅ Drive improvements in key safety metrics (case rate, CSA, DQ compliance, etc.) ✅ Partner cross-functionally with HR and leadership ✅ Manage workers’ comp and claims from injury through return-to-workIdeal candidate: ✔ 2–5 years of safety experience (transportation and/or warehouse) ✔ Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, EPA regulations ✔ Experience with safety metrics, audits, and compliance programs ✔ Certifications like CSP, CSHT, CIH, CSHM, or ARM are a plus ✔ CDL or driver-facing experience = strong advantage ✔ Someone who takes ownership, builds relationships, and follows throughIf you’re the type who walks the floor, builds trust, and actually moves the needle on safety, this is worth a conversation.
