The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patient mobility, strength, and overall function.This role primarily treats adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with orthopedic conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical TherapistProvide therapeutic exercises and modalities (e.g., ultrasound, E-stim, TENS, heat/cold therapy)Perform gait training, mobility exercises, and patient transfersEducate patients on home exercise programsMonitor patient progress and document outcomes accurately (Epic preferred)Maintain a safe and efficient clinical environmentRequired QualificationsMinimum 1 year of PTA experienceOregon PTA License (can be pending at time of submission)BLS CertificationExperience in outpatient orthopedic settingsPreferred SkillsExperience treating:Low back pain, sciatica, and spinal conditionsJoint replacements (hip/knee)Post-operative orthopedic casesArthritis and musculoskeletal disordersFamiliarity with:Manual therapy and mobilization techniquesModalities (TENS, ultrasound, traction)Epic EMR systemAbout Hanker Systems IncHealthcare staffing at Hanker Systems Inc is focused on delivering the righttalent to support quality patient care.
