Position: Forward Deployed Engineer Location: Nashville TN, US About the Role We are seeking Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join our Emerging Tech team and drive cutting-edge innovation initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and client delivery, where you will build and deploy high-impact solutions in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. As an FDE, you will take full ownership of delivering solutions end-to-end—from architecture and development to testing and deployment—while working closely with stakeholders to rapidly bring ideas to life. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design, build, and deploy full-stack applications with a strong emphasis on backend systems Develop scalable services and APIs using Java and cloud-native architectures on GCP Build and integrate AI-powered solutions leveraging Vertex AI and agentic AI frameworks Own the entire software development lifecycle including development, testing (QA), deployment, and production support Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to rapidly prototype and deliver solutions Operate in forward-deployed environments, working closely with end users or clients to refine and iterate solutions Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time, ensuring high-quality delivery under tight timelines Required Qualifications Full-stack development experience with a backend-heavy focus Proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Experience building or integrating solutions using Vertex AI and/or agentic AI systems Proven ability to deliver end-to-end solutions independently (development, QA, deployment) Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with minimal guidance Strong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly ramp up on new technologies Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Capacitor or other cross-platform/mobile development frameworks Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, etc.) Exposure to microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Interested can share cv at: chandrika@ashratech.com/8688322631 Pay: $86,162.07 - $103,765.07 per year Experience: Forward Deployed Engineer: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
