ToroAire has an immediate opening for a Counter Sales Associate position at our San Jose, CA warehouse. The Counter Sales Associate is responsible for handling the sales process, from the initial request to the execution of the order. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join a great team, we encourage you to apply today!Duties and Responsibilities:Greets customers, provides quotes and takes ordersProcesses paymentsManages inventoryProvides customer supportProcesses shipping and will call ordersBe flexible to back-up all warehouse duties as needed including shipping and receivingExperience:Understanding of technology and machinery used for transporting and storing material goodsKnowledge of logistics, transportation, and customer servicePrior experience using UPS and FedEx, a plusPrior knowledge in HVAC products, a plusRequirements and Qualification:High School DiplomaProficient in using computer (e.g., email, Microsoft programs, etc.)Electrical, industrial and/or distribution experience preferred but not requiredExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyCustomer service orientedAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication skillsPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are required to perform the functions of this position.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Must be able to operate forklift equipment (onsite training & certification available)Compensation: $25-$30/hrWe offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401(k) Plan with employer matching, PTO, and Paid Holidays.In compliance with California Consumer Privacy Protection Act (CCPA), there may be a need to collect your personal information, (Name, Address, Phone Number.
