Barback and Bartender

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to join our team as a Barback and Bartender. This dual role requires a friendly, detail-oriented professional capable of providing exceptional customer service in a lively nightclub or hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, possess strong communication skills, and be comfortable working in fast-paced settings. Responsibilities include supporting bartenders, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Responsibilities Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, preparing garnishes, and maintaining bar station cleanliness Handle food preparation tasks including garnishing and light food service when needed Buss tables and clear empty glasses to maintain a clean environment Support catering and banquet events with food handling, serving, and setup as required Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glassware, utensils, and equipment Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously Assist in general restaurant operations including cashiering and cash handling when necessary Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours Experience Previous experience in food industry roles such as restaurant server, barista, or banquet staff is highly preferred Experience working in nightclubs, catering events, or hotel hospitality environments is a plus Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Background in food preparation, bussing, or food handling enhances performance in this role Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure are essential Prior experience with cleaning duties and maintaining high standards of hygiene is beneficial This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service to thrive in a vibrant environment.
