A food processor in the Warrenville, IL area is seeking a Safety Specialist responsible for enforcing safety programs to ensure compliance.Responsibilities:Assist with implementation of safety standards and procedures in compliance with regulationsCarry out facility inspections to identify safety concernsLead safety training sessions for new employeesInvestigate accidents, prepare reports and help suggest corrective actionsOversee use of PPE and maintain safety recordsConduct risk assessments for facilityQualifications:At least an Associate Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related fieldAt least 3 years of experience in safety, preferably in food processing or manufacturing environmentsOSHA certification preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsExperience with Microsoft OfficeActiv8 Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc. has been one of the leading recruiting firms in North America when it comes to working with Japanese Businesses for more than 25 years.
